PPAPP Central Jakarta Holds 5 Convergence Actions for Stunting Intervention

Central Jakarta Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Handling Sub-agency held 5 convergence actions for stunting intervention at local mayor office. The program was participated by 157 participants.

Central Jakarta Empowerment, Child Protection and Population Handling Sub-agency Head, Dwi Wahyu Riyanti, explained this program is part of government's attention to society. By this, stunting problem can be eliminated.

Seribu Island Regency Accelerates Stunting Handling and Prevention

"We conducting coaching and training for family support team (TPK) and human development cadre (KPM)," she said, Wednesday (10/2).

Dwi added the participants today were cadre of TPK, KPM, related regional working units and PKK. The implementation of coaching and capacity building is expected to increase insight and improve cadres' concern for the community.

She also hopes that the cadres have the knowledge to prepare a healthy and quality family. So that the next generation is ready to face the era of global competition and welcome the Golden Indonesia 2045.

Meanwhile, Mila Yusnita, Population and Family Planning (KKB) Arranger of National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN), the source person, explained the causes, characteristics and handling of stunting and the role of cadres.

"Sanitation is also important to handle stunting," she stated.
